Happy Mothers Day Card Making Supplies:

• White Cardstock
• Rubber Stamps : Floral stamp by Lucy's Stamps/ Happy Mother's Day by All Night Media
• Water color : Yellow Green and Red by Sakura Water Colors
• Inkpad: Versafine Onyx Black (or any pigment black inkpad)
• Brush
• Clean water
• Tissue paper for wiping brush
• Yellow marker
• Double sided tape

Happy Mothers Day Card Making Instructions:

This Happy Mother's Day Card is very easy to make and is a lovely handmade card to send to your mom this Happy Mother's Day. It's doesn't take much time to make this card. (Note: If you don't have the below mentioned rubber stamps, just use another floral design stamp).

I use water color for this project. The water coloring technique used here is relatively simple. All I did is just putting a color on the card and using clean water on a brush to pull the color over the design. Try it! You will love it.

• Fold cardstock to make blank card.
• Ink floral design rubber stamp with black pigment ink and stamp on the top half of white blank card.
• Ink Happy Mother's Day stamp with same black pigment ink and stamp on the bottom half of the white blank card.
• Squeeze red and yellow green water colors onto palette.
• Wet brush and pick up the red color and apply to the flower petals. Just brush onto the inside of the petals.
• Use a clean brush and wet the brush with clean water.
• Pull the red color on the petals to the outer edges.
• Leave some portion white (untouched) for highlight.
• Paint the rest of the card front with yellow green color.
• Use the wooden end of the brush to make the dots on the color. Just tap the wooden end on the paint and make dots around the 4 sides of the card close to the edge.
• Stamp a small flower on scrap white card and color it.
• Cut out and use double sided tape to attach to the top right of the Happy Mother's Day message.
• Use a yellow marker to color the centre of the flowers.
• Leave the card to dry and if needed, put under a heavy book to flatten.
