Happy Birthday!

by Kristi Edney
(Bowie, MD.)

How It Was Created:

1. Cut out a piece of card stock, then cut out another piece with a design and smaller and glued them together.

2. Printed out the words on blue vellum and glued them to the card.

3. Using a butterfly punch, punched a butterfly out of white card stock.

4. Punched out another butterfly with the blue vellum paper, folded the wings and glued it to the center of the white butterfly.

5. Placed light blue rhinestones here and there.

Lovely!

Hi Kristi!

Your card is lovely. I like the idea of your layering the blue vellum butterfly onto the white butterfly. And the design card stock you chose is just the right design and colour for this handmade Happy Birthday card.

The message on the card using blue vellum - you need a special glue, right?

The overall result is definitely lovely.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Flora
