Wedding Card

For this LOVE wedding card, I took a dark brown sheet of 8.5 x 11 card stock and cut it down to 6.5 x 8.5 and folded it in half.

On my computer I formatted the Bible verse 1 Corinthians 13 onto a page 6.5 wide x 8.5 high in Edwardian Script ITC 14 pt. black leaving approximately a 1 inch space at the bottom of the page and printed it on the card stock.

Also on my computer I formatted the word LOVE in the same font but 72 pt and centered it and ran my paper through the printer again.

For the inside verse I used the Serenity Prayer with the wedding couples names inserted in it i.e. "God grant A & B the serenity to...".

I took a 1 inch by 6.5 inch piece of mini floral vellum and sprayed the back side with spray adhesive and attached to the bottom of the brown card stock.

I then affixed the fuchsia satin ribbon also using spray adhesive and a little bow to finish it off.

A new twist on Wedding card ...
by: Jody/SmokinMinister

You did a beautiful job ... simple but well thought out ... Thanks for sharing the new twist you put into making the Wedding Card. Am going to try it in my great niece's "colors" for her upcoming Wedding.
